REVIEWS:
BAND: NIHILISTINEN BARBAARISUUS
GENRE: AMBIENT BLACK METAL
ALBUM: THE CHILD MUST DIE
COUNTRY: US
CITY: PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA
The CD starts with the wondrous Sampo music. Get overwhelming. Battery very fast and well directed with very strident rhythm guitar and more drawn cadences. Dark and aggressiveness transport us to the dark times. The sounds of the keyboards are very well embedded in the right time and mood of the songs. The vocal is excellent and well Original. One of the best I've heard in recent years.
In The Child Must Die is one of my favorites. It begins with well sinister and psychotic fingerings. Aimed at Metal-year 80e suddenly the purest and overwhelming black metal. Very fast battery with enough aggression and savagery. A lot of creativity in the rhythms and intervals with fingerings. Merging Metal 80s and 90s Quite originality.
LET THEM PERISH: One of my favorites. Drawn parts in the beginning. Flights pretty grim and macabre. Excellent riffs. Use of well-designed keyboards.
FEAST OF THE NORTH FARM: fast and aggressive Black Metal. Rhythmic drums, but with great technique. Somewhat resembles Black Metal 80s Excellent.
Amidst the WAVES: Brutal Black Metal 90s A lot of aggressiveness. Excellent battery work.
Vainamoinen: I just love this song. Stormy weather, dark and mystical. Excellent.
THE NIGHT SHE DIED: Dude !!! No words to describe this instrumental. Fingerings and goals. Gloomy weather. I found very interesting.

04. WHO WRITES THE MUSIC? LYRICS? AND WHERE DO THE LYRIC IDEAS COME FROM?
Music writes by all the members except the drummer. The lyrics is mine job and the idea of lyrics came
from satanism,darkness,anti- religion and occultism. Im inspired by this things like the most black metal musicians
and I think you must have fantasy and will to write a good black metal song.

01. HOW DID THE BAND GET STARTED?
PERDITION TEMPLE began at the exact moment of the end of the previous incarnation, ANGELCORPSE in 2009... various reasons led to that bands dissolution, but my vision and motivations for that sound were not over... but because of the key member changes and the effect on the overall sound I chose to re-invent this work into a new band name to denote the difference... so the 1st PERDITION TEMPLE album, "Edict of the Antichrist Elect" is ALL music that up until 2009 would have been the basis of the 5th ANGELCORPSE full length... so since I picked up with OSMOSE label where the old band left off, there was really no demo process since the material had been being developed for several years already...
02. WHERE DID THE BAND NAME COME FROM?
The name represents the celebration and a sort of worship/nurturing of Chaos, Ruin, and Abomination... which is well suited since there are many multifaceted subjects in lyrics and arts...
03. INTRODUCE THE BAND MEMBERS AND WHAT THEY DO IN THE BAND?
Aside from myself, there is Ronnie Parmer on drums, Gabriel Gozainy on bass, Impurath on vocals, Bill Taylor on guitars...
04. DID YOU HAVE PLAYED MANY GIGSW
We've played several event shows here in the USA since 2011...a few key Florida shows and some others that went to NY,TX, and IL and GA...
05. HOW MANY ALBUMS/CD HAVE YOU RELEASED?
there was the debut album in 2010...and now in December 2014 there has been released the "Sovereign of the Desolate" 7' ep, and currently the cd edition of the 2015 2nd full length is available... The new 7" and new full length are released through HELLS HEADBANGERS RECORDS(USA)...the previous debut full length had been released through OSMOSE PRODUCTIONS(FRANCE)...
06. DO YOU HAVE ANY SIDE PROJECTS?
Currently the only other active work I have going is BLASPHEMIC CRUELTY...which a debut album had come out in 2008, and now after much time a new mlp entitled "Crucible of the Infernum" has just been finished and pending release also through HELLS HEADBANGERS RECORDS...
07. TELL US MORE ABOUT CD EDITION: THE TEMPTER´S VICTORIOUS?
I'd mentioned that the previous PT album had been material originally fully intended to have been the next ANGELCORPSE album(5th album)...but with the material for this sophomore album, "The Tempter's Victorious" all the songs are completely beyond the elements ANGELCORPSE would have been restrained with... the nature of much of the riffs is much more anti or obscure type dark or warped melodic content than i'd previously employed... There is nothing about it that is not immediately identifiable as the sort of riffs/songs that I've done in the past but there are a large amount of bizarre dissonance elements in solos and some riffs that are likened to influences of things like a wildly insane VOIVOD process...And lyrically I've moved a bit in my directions... a lot of stuff that revolves around humans fascinations with religious or irreligious extremity and the explosive results that can be evoked from these things in the real world...things to make one often consider where they might stand on these subjects and question whether or not some of these things that are perceived as "negatives" might actually be things to be nurtured for the goals of our visions... what does one really think the "victory" of an "antichrist" pursuit will mean to the world they exist? When one has a world view of nearly ALL as an enemy, it is not just faceless or distant opposing ideas and/or individuals that are a target, but it might be very well the faces you look in the eyes of everyday that are also a poison to our aims... so when you observe various factions and ideas exploding into destructive conflict, you might have to wonder that all this might be a benefit to some "other" future existence where when the smoke clears and the ashes are washed away it may lead us closer to the paths we've always been looking for...
08. WHAT ARE YOUR INSPIRATIONS FOR THE YOUR MUSIC?
Mostly all the stuff I've ever been into... anyone who has ever paid any attention to my words knows that i'm big on a lot of 70's early era metal...and in recent years I've even dabbled back to mid 60's odd fuzz stuff ... and of course I've always followed a bunch of operatic stuff like Wagner, and more wild classical sounds like Penderecki, and much Russian composers like Shostakovich and Mussorgsky... and of course from my early teens when I got into this stuff to begin with there are all the obvious metal ones like POSSESSED, SLAYER, CELTIC FROST, and most of all those old speed/thrash/death originators and many other bands(all known) from those times, no need to catalog all the names that any/all should already be versed in...
09. TELL US BOUT THE BLACK METAL SCENE IN FLORIDA?
Not very exciting... the common trends in what most of the old known bands pursue now is of little interest to me, and most all younger bands seem to lack any of things that made me identify with what this music is all about personally, so I find it hard to connect to a lot of new stuff...and most "new" bands that I like are ones that to many might seem liked outdated sounding bands by modern standards, but I guess that is where I am fine to remain...
10. ARE YOU A MYSTICAL PERSON?
Not at all... I have no vision of the bitter peace of some "heaven" or pompous delusion of some "reign" in "hell"... the entirety of our actual living existence is ALL, and what we can influence during that time that may stand and endure beyond it is the only "immortality" we can expect for what it is worth...
11. WHICH IS THE IDEOLOGY OF PERDITION TEMPLE?
Principally it is in my understanding of the band name... the CELEBRATION and NURTURING of CHAOS, RUIN, and every ABOMINATION that can be brought about upon the earth to it's ultimate end...
12. WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?
Ash in dirt.
13. WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD FOR THE BAND?
With the new release just coming out we've got an assortment of live show events planned... we'll do whatever we can to spread our sound and affect whatever we can...
14. THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT. ANY LAST COMMENTS?
Thanks for the major support, and I'm proud to continue all that I've been doing these many years now and always honored when anyone might find some reward and value in it...
